Access Network: The Biotechnology Park benefits from having direct linkages with the existing transport infrastructure, including the MR3 highway corridor, dry port and international airport in Matsapha. A future bridge linking the Biotechnology Park with the Matsapha Industrial Estate has been proposed as an additional main artery. His Majesty’s government continues upgrading ofmsurrounding road network to meet the demands of estimated growth.

The hierarchy of the Park’s transportation system is ideally arranged to serve the differing functional levels and trip

  1. Arterial roads (30m): gateway boulevards to predominantly
    carry through traffic, and cultural lanes to create a vibrant
  2. Collector roads (22m): an additional circle road system to
    collect and distribute traffic.
